You will learn the core principles of application, blending, and aftercare, building the strong foundation you’ll need to progress onto our Foundation to Flawless advanced course. You’ll also receive guidance on how to start and grow your hair extension business, helping you turn your new skill into a successful, professional service. What This Course Covers By the end of this course, you will have learned how to: • Understand the structure, types, and growth cycle of natural hair • Follow health, safety, and professional standards • Identify the right tools, products, and hair types for each client • Applying weave hair extensions • Blend, maintain, and safely remove extensions • Carry out thorough client consultations and provide aftercare advice • Gain insight and practical business guidance to help you launch your extension services successfully This course ensures you have a complete understanding of the fundamentals before moving on to more advanced, seamless, and colour-focused techniques. How the Blended Learning Works This course is delivered in two parts: 1. Theory Pack (Pre-Study) – You are expected to read and complete this before your practical day. It covers all the background knowledge needed to understand application, safety, and aftercare. 2. Practical Training (In-Salon) – During this session, you’ll put your knowledge into practice, applying and removing extensions under trainer supervision. Completing your pre-study will help you get the most out of your practical training, allowing you to feel confident and prepared on the day. What’s Expected of Learners • Complete your pre-study theory before your training day. • Bring your tools and kit (or use one provided). • Arrive on time and ready to learn in a professional manner. • Ask questions whenever you’re unsure — learning happens through practice and curiosity. Support doesn’t end after your course. You’re welcome to return with a client or model to be reassessed, or you can send photos of your work and regrowth before a refit for personalised feedback and ongoing guidance.
